Check the full model designation on the engine plate. F15 and F15A use different catalogs, and F9.8 and F9.9 are different engines. A similar horsepower rating or appearance does not mean the parts are the same.

How to Find the Right Part

  1. Read the engine plate. Note the full model designation and the approximate production year.
  2. Open the exploded diagram. Select your engine family and the section you are working on, for example the lower casing for the water-pump impeller.
  3. Match the part number. Compare the item and part number in the diagram with the product page, check availability and add the part to your cart.

Repair Instead of Replace

A Parsun outboard that stops running well rarely needs replacing. The cause is usually one worn or failed component: a water-pump impeller, a thermostat, a spark plug, a fuel filter or a gasket. Replacing that part costs a fraction of a new engine and keeps a working outboard on the water instead of at the scrapyard.

Replace only what is worn

Every part is sold individually. The exploded diagrams show each component, so you can change a single seal, gasket or impeller instead of a complete assembly.

Prevent the bigger repairs

Regular changes of oil, filters, impeller and anodes protect the engine from overheating and corrosion. Follow the maintenance schedule for your model.

Keep engines in use for longer

A well-maintained four-stroke outboard can serve for many seasons. Repairing it uses far fewer resources than building a new engine.

Parts for Parsun-Based Outboards

Some outboards sold as Neptune, SeaKing, Genovo, Ozeam or Coleman may share parts with a Parsun model. This varies by model and production year. Do not order from the brand name alone; compare the full engine model and part number first.
