F15-06000004 is the lower-unit sacrificial anode used on Parsun F15, F20A and F25 outboard motors to protect the gearcase and surrounding metal components from galvanic corrosion.
It should be kept clean and unpainted so it can work correctly, and replaced when wear or corrosion has consumed a substantial portion of the anode material.
Compatible with Yamaha 61N-45251-01.
