F15-07040006 is the valve spring retainer used in the cylinder-head valve assemblies of Parsun F15, F20A, F20AEFI, F25, F40 and F60 outboard motors.
It sits above the valve spring and works with the valve cotter to hold the compressed spring securely on the valve stem during engine operation.
