Built into the starter-handle stack, this damper cushions impact when the recoil handle returns on Parsun F20A, F20AEFI, F25 and F40 outboards.
It sits between the rope, handle and cover pieces to reduce shock and make repeated pull-start use less harsh on the surrounding starter hardware.
