This F5A/F6A water-pump assembly works with the impeller, water-pipe seals, dowel pin, and pump gaskets in the lower casing and drive section.

It is the main cooling-water pump housing for the outboard, so it matters when the original pump body is worn, scored, or damaged at the sealing surfaces.
