Acting as the latch unit between the top cowling and the lower pan, this locking assembly helps secure the Parsun F25, F40 or F60 engine cover in place.
It sits with the lever jacket, spring and bushing pieces in the bottom-cowling assembly so the cowling can be locked down and released for service access.
