Stored inside the recoil starter, F4-04130005 is the volute rewind spring that returns the starter rope after each pull on Parsun F2.6, F4 and F6A outboards.
It is the main energy-storing spring in the pull-start mechanism and a key service item when the rope stops rewinding correctly.
