In the recoil starter mechanism of Parsun F25 and F40 outboards, F25-05160017 works as the drive plate during pull-start operation.
It transmits pulling force into the engine starting mechanism with the starter wheel, drive pawls and clutch parts, then releases as the recoil spring returns the starter to rest.
Compatible with Yamaha 65W-15716-00.
