Sitting between the upper and lower outer-plate gaskets, this metal plate is one of the hard parts in the F5A/F6A water-pump stack.
It provides the correct face and support for the surrounding seals and is the right Parsun spare part when the original plate is worn, warped, or damaged during pump service.
